I have a question (really hope someone can advise)...

Quick background: My T460 screen is flickering/freezing, and to 'unfreeze' it I just have to move the screen a tiny bit. So it could be a loose connection which is what I want to check.

My question: I started removing the plastic frame/bezel around the screen, but I'm concerned about the glue that's there - will I need to glue or tape anything when I re-assemble it? Or is the glue not necessary - can I just clip the plastic back in once I'm done?

(Pardon the noob question here. I don't want a situation where the screen gets displaced or something because there's no glue.)

My L560 shows a black display when I switch it on. Over VGA the computer is showing all boot information and it's running perfectly unter W10/11. The camera in the display frame works. But the Device manager and Windows overall do not find the internal display. I only get the external screen for configuration. Internal display is totally black, not a backlight issue. BIOS is at latest revision 1.62. Could it be a display cable issue?

BTW, glueing the display frame to the lid is absolutely sub-par. There were times when Lenovo was way better...

Hi sir, currently i have a T14s gen2 with a 1080p 300nits non touch lcd with a 30 pin lcd cable. I would really love to upgrade it to a 1080p touch 500nits with PrivacyGuard.

Changing to the 40pin lcd cable would be enough to support the new 1080p touch lcd? I read about the FRU and those two are compatible (the lcd cable and the panel) but my exact model originaly come with the 30 pin cable... Other t14s gen 2 with the same motherboard supports the 1080p toucscreen panel..Do you know if this upgrade should work?

Few days ago i spilled some water around my My lenovo v15 82c7, Thankfully motherboard is not damaged but there is a sign of corrosion and display cable pin is also corroded, Whenever i try to start up my laptop the screen is flickering(Mostly blank), I connected the laptop to a monitor and its working fine. I was thinking about changing the Display cable, so i was hoping if you could explain all that can be done about the display. The cost, solution, components needed. I am a bit confused on this one because i want a cheap solution.
