Associated Press, Reuters, PBS, BBC, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, The Economist, Fortune, Nature, Science Magazine, & Nat Geo. There you go - a list of reputable centrist, center-right, & center-left sources ranging from politics to economics to science. It's really easy to gauge bias and reputation there's no excuse for using extremely biased, fake, or click bait sources

Only real way is to learn the fundamentals in a lot of different subjects, and then you can start to infer if something seems off and check multiple sources. Taking bias into account.
There are no short cuts here and no simple answers. Simple is for those who don't understand the concept of responsibility.
