Ram 1500 No Crank No Start - SOLVED

Recently my 2016 Ram 1500 left me stranded and would not turn over or start. After getting it towed home I began troubleshooting the issue. I ran my scan tool for diagnostic codes, I checked all fuses and relays as well as the wiring harness and connectors for any issues. In the end it appears the starter was seized, so tapping it with a hammer a few times was able to free it up to drive until I was able to change the starter.

I had a 2017 Ram 1500. Around the 29000 mileage marker. I developed a intermittent no crank, no start. Well i sent it to the dealership under warranty. They called me hours later to tell me they couldn't find anything wrong. I picked the truck up and drove it home. Next day same thing. So i disconnected the battery. Jacked up the truck and removed that dust shield. I took a 1/4 inch ratchet and a 13mm socket. I turned the main nut on the positive battery cable at the starter a quarter turn. Climbed out from underneath the truck. Reconnected the battery and bam. The truck started up and was fine. Till the day i turned it in for a newer ram. Which was over a year later. Since 2017. I have owned two 4th gen rams and two 5th gen rams. Not because they're junk.

Just replaced the original starter on 2012 Ram 1500. 150k miles and it was worn out.

I have 2009 dodge ram
AAA said your battery is shot
Changed the battery and it still didn’t work but charged me for battery..
Said it’s my starter, I told them to leave. I changed the starter on my own
On the last bolt it stripped! Bought bolt extractor kit now I’m in the hole around 500 or more I get that stubborn bolt re assamble brand new starter and still isn’t turning. Bought code reader no engine lights or codes. Before I roll it off a hill what can I do ?

My husband suspects its his starter on his 2017 ram.

Was recently in the shop for brakes and inspection. Plus a weird skip while driving 50mph-60mph. No idea on cause.

We get the truck home 2 days later truck is dead in the driveway. We suspected the battery got a new one. Needed it anyways. Still nothing.

Yesterday I replaced the trucks alternator and battery today drove it but made a stop for food and when I turn it on it sound like it didn’t want to so when I got home it did turn it off but as soon I turn it on the truck it makes a rattling noise and it started but the engine won’t turn on.I don’t know if I’m making sense but I do need help as I bought it last week and starting to regret my purchase

Help Please! New motor, new battery and new starter but no crank now. Only way to start is with 1 jumper cable to neg battery and 1 cable to metal. Must be a ground but how do i figure out which one and where its located?
