How to install a WTB Tire on a WTB Rim

Thank you! The part about keeping the bead in the center of the rim while you put it on is super important. I had been doing it wrong, making sure both sides were up against the rim and trying to force it on with tire irons. It was so much easier and can almost be done by hand if you pinch both sides of the tire so its in the center as you go around the rim... 20+ years of riding and I feel dumb I just learned that trick today!

Do you need sealant with a tube? I have 27.5 wtb st i40 rims with tubeless compatibility but not sure if necessary?

which way round do you install it? can’t see any directional arrows on the tire

This rim is a complete pain. It’s impossible to get a tire onto the rim. Would not recommend this rim. Just get something that’s easier to use

Please be advised that their valves are not removable. Be very suspicious of bike stores trying to get rid of old stock...
