Most useful video on the tube today. Not because it taught me anything particular, but because now I know I'm not alone in having troubles with tyre changes :-)

The trick of pressing the tire/wheel assembly against a wall when mounting the new tire was a ride-saver. After breaking one of my tire levers on a particularly tight new tire, I turned to the internet for some tricks and that was the one that saved my day. Thanks!

Thank you.. Finally I managed to get my tyre off! So much harder these days than old-school bike tyres! :-)

Been struggling with a tire all morning and watched tons of videos. Yours is the only one that told me what I'd done wrong. Make sure you're installing your tire in the right direction! Thank you!

I'd like to see you taking off a Bontrager S4 TubeLess after it has been on the (40mm) rim for half a year. It was the hardest tyre I ever removed in my entire life. Without a vice its almost impossible. Since that day I don't carry an inner tube with me anymore as in the woods I can't get the tyre off anyway....

I haven't read a single comment yet but I'm wondering how many people are going to scold you for not lining up logo with valve. Lol

I Like all the tips about soapy water, or heating your tires up first, Last time I had a puncher, I was out test riding my new bike on a night ride in the freezing cold with the bike and tires covered in mud, Trying to get of my tire with my hands and a rock, totally unprepared, I now have plastic levers in my kit and just made them tubles.

Thanks for the assistance. Wide tires on wide rims, take a-lot of effort. Nearly resorted to using a saw.

Kool Stop Tire Bead Jack. Best purchase I ever made.

Great tips, thanks Steve.

For inflating and popping the bead properly onto the rim, save yourself a LOT of grief and get an Airblast pump

Thanks. I was losing my mind on this. The tip of bringing everything closer to the middle of the rim did the trick.

Thank You very much for the tips and advice - applies equally to older 26" Mavic Crossride rims matched with new Contimental Trail King 2.2" tyres with the Apex Protection (tough getting the bead centered in the middle of the rim in well helps enormously!

6:46 Putting it to the center of the rim - holy shit that saved so much frustration, thank you. With this trick I put in my tire even without levers.
