Going over ALL 3 New Strand Subclasses and Discussing what Abilities are likely to be the Most Powerful in the PvE & PvP Meta! What Class has the best Strand Subclass you should pick and play first?

New #Destiny2 video, going over that I think is the Best Strand Subclass after looking at all the Destiny 2 News after the lightfall early access event during Season of the Seraph! This is just after the new Destiny 2 Lightfall Vidoc Video witch officially revealed the new Lightfall Expansion and Year 6 of Destiny 2! The new Witch Queen DLC is here! It provides a new campaign, new weapons, new exotic quests, and so much more! We have the latest witch queen updates and news! Season of the Seraph has launched, with the new Heist Battlegrounds Activity, the Operation Seraph's Shield Exotic Mission and the updated Deep Stone Crypt Raid! But today we are going over a bunch of new info from this new 2023 update! Previously, Massive new Lightfall info was released as strand was officially revealed! We have all 3 new Strand subclasses (Broodweaver Warlock, Berserker Titan, Threadrunner Hunter) as well as new Strand Aspects and Fragments to use in new Strand Builds!
Well we're looking at those abilities and Lightfall Gameplay showcasing those abilities to try to determine what Strand Subclass should you pick in lightfall!

Warlocks have it the best but having a hunter on your team for the increased mobility for the entire team is going to make it very useful

As a warlock main since D1 pre alpha, im pretty excited for the new strand sub class. It feels like a mix between a necromancer and wizard.

I just realized something when they said they were looking into a auto melee accessibility option i thought that sounded kind pointless but with 3 melee charge combat coming in lightfall it actually makes since and could actually be pretty helpful in pvp

If you are new to Titan give it a try, one subclass is all of them. You'll be disappointed fast tho, its not diverse like the other class you came from. (Im a Titan main since early D1 btw).

Im slowly migrating to Warlock, but none of the strand classes clicked with me

I think the big thing for Titans will be, how does Suspend affect bosses? Will it slow them, will it debuff them, will it actually suspend the boss, just for a shorter time?

looking at the warlock gameplay you can see the melee recharging with 2 stacks left so definatly looks like 3 charges as well for us not just having to rapid fire

Warlock and hunters look very unique. Warlock can summon green minions, hunters whip their rope dart around, and titans- they just punch but instead its stab and launch green projectiles. Everyone forgot what titans are meant for, they’re supposed to be tanks. Yet bungie seemed to forgot about it as well, making them melee focused instead.

if you look at the B roll gameplay at 11:08, the warlock can space out their three melee charges like the titan can.

The warlock does have 3 melee charges. Look at the melee bar during the warlock grapple footage in that bridge

my issues with strand titan:
-no known survival mechanic out of the woven mail which doesnt protect the head and the single target sever debuff, neither in the form of another source of damage resistance or more importantly, healing, meaning from what we know the strand titan wont be able to withstand constant pressure as he has no way to recover while in combat unlike virtually all other titans, and will be VERY dependant on woven mail utime as its sole line of durability... while beign a melee subclass that wants to get in close and personal and as such WILL be exposed to fire very often. Could change with further fragment reveals though.

-no known way to generate tangles in the kit as none of its abilities and no grenades contain the "unravel" keyword that is vital to creating tangles; the only known ways to get some will either be allies (mostly warlocks) or the quicksilver storm catalyst that will allow the gun to generate tangles with its grenade mode on kills (so useful against trash mobs, not against bosses with no or very tough ads); the only hope for that side of titans is if some of the yet to be known fragments allow for the creation of tangles. Pretty worrying when one of its two aspects will likely need frequent tangles to benefit the titan

-out of severing, it seems the strand titan will focus a lot on suspending enemies; nothing wrong with that, but suspend may be the very first effect to offer no benefit against CC immune targets (as stasis freeze could still be used as extra damage against targets that werent shut down by the freeze. Suspend has no known damage component whatsoever.)

A couple things to keep in mind:

- Arcane Needle has three charges just like the Titan melee; you don’t need to use them all at once.

- The Titan Super light attack will increase attack speak with each hit up to three times. If you get yourself in a big ol’ crowd, you’ll mow through them like nothing. Also boss damage perhaps? Obviously not as efficient as a one-off, but Titans will be getting their Darkness one-off super in the third and final Darkness subclass, in The Final Shape.

The problem for titan wasn't so. Much the kit, but the super. Another YouTuber mentioned it should've been a mini gun shooting strand. We get titans punch things, but it needs long distance Supers with more imagination.

Even though the Titan's new super doesn't look overwhelmingly cool like the other classes, I'm still excited for it because I'm a dedicated Titan main. I seldom touch my other classes and this does look fairly fun to me. Alas, there's only one way to find out how good it'll be.

im excited fo rstrand hunters, as a hunter main, it looks like strand is going to allow us hunters to show off the acrobatics that make us unique
