alot of people dont remember that when strand titan was first revealed there was a spining type attack for bladefury titan which i guess never made it into the final game

Green striker is a meme but their ability to suspend is insane. I was in a group with one and we were tackling the neomuna public event while grossly under light level. Suspend was hard CC that locked down wyverns and kept us alive

Honestly I wish the Hunter melee had a marker when you throw it. It would make it so much easier to catch it in time.

I have an interesting idea for warlock using the colony and a strand primary.

I really wanna see how much I can do by just sitting still and letting threadlings and insect grenades do their thing lol

The only problem I have with multi melee hits is that it seems to take forever to get all charges back

Hoil with strand is actually pretty ok compared to my initial despair when looking at the patchnotes. Thanks to the three melee stacks, as long as you keep staring at your Hoil stacks and pace yourself with your ability use, you can get some pretty sweet uptime on that grapple :o

I like the armor changes, but the only thing lacking is that ther should be more ways to gain armor charge other than just collecting orbs. I think collecting the subclass specific items should also be mods that give armor charge all be it with more energy cost to balance it out

i like how much we got to use it but also having a choice on whether we wanted to use it or not in the last few missions

The difference in hitting the tip of the dart compared to not is actually insane so positioning matters a lot. Feels real cool. Though I haven’t found a great use of the “grenade” ability that feels like it justifies not having an actual grenade. Other than just going in but on legendary difficulty this got me killed a bunch. When it did work, grappling in, using the melee and diving before hitting the ground to suspend everything and launch my melee through them felt super cool. I’m looking forward to trying warlock next.

brood weaver is pretty nutty. land one melee, that unravels the target, damaging that target will make nanites that damage and unravel other targets which adds up to pretty great multi target damage and kill chaining. that and the ability to make threadlings very easily makes the class feel pretty fantastic. running the fragment that grants woven mail on orb pickup ties it all together with great survivability. very good class to try out.

Strand is the single coolest thing to be added to D2 gameplay wise, there is not a single thing that compares to the absolute joy of grapple swinging into another guardian with your shotgun ready

Everytime I got strand during the campaign I switched to felwinters helm. The build potential around it is amazing

I only have 2 issues with strand so far.

The hunter dive should have more lateral movement. It hurts when you accidentally grapple towards a cliff and can't save yourself. Being able to dive back down towards safety is needed.

The titan melee (and super light attack) should gain lunge distance in addition to speed. Also the light attack shouldn't consume super energy.


Other than that it's felt amazing so far.

hunter and warlock team work is so fun, hunter sets up a grapple point in an ad rich area, and warlocks starts spaming grapple melee for infinite bomb children.
