Not Going to Work for Free

The plaintiff is a model and videographer. She says she was hired by the defendants to create a promotional video for the defendants’ restaurant, but they kept changing their minds about what they wanted. The plaintiff says the defendants have paid her, so she’s suing for time wasted and what she’s owed. The defendants argue the video was nothing like what they discussed.

Usually when someone says they are a model I role my eyes. She’s one of the few people that actually looks like one.

So it looks like they used to be called Jezebel but within a few weeks of filming, this they renamed to "J Soho" to be more family friendly, and they closed down less than a year later. They didn't try to rename it to be more family friendly but because they were a kosher place and the rabbi's didn't want to help support a business with that name. The funny thing is you can look at reviews from just before this was filmed and they were talking about hostesses in skimpy outfits and sexy waitresses. These dudes really leaned into a certain look and then tried to stiff anyone to cover for their own mistakes.
