9mm radius with mass of the Earth is so extreme it is almost incomprehensible.

This sounds like an 9 year old kid's presentation where everything keeps getting cooler and more explosive

Mad respect to the camera man who held his breath and withstood the pulling force of the black hole.

Meanwhile, your boss is asking why you aren't at work today

What would you do in this situation?

I’m glad he’s started using a simulation as his experiments got a little bit more wild.

That's not called spaghettification. That's the Roche effect: When gravity starts breaking apart a celestial corpse due to a tide so intense the gravity between one side and the other breaks the object. Spaghettification happens when the corpse is elongated into an accretion disc without breaking apart.

I love how enthusiastic he sounds explaining how the Earth gets ripped apart

Being ripped apart by tidal forces isn’t “spaghettification” (you made is sound like that’s always the case), this happens to any object where the Roche limit is exceeded, doesn’t need to be a black hole. “spaghettification” happens under more specific circumstances (which would actually happen here because there is a black hole, but not at the point in time where you mention it).

What I’m trying to say is that spaghettification is always the Roche limit being exceeded, but not every Roche limit being exceeded is spaghettification.

You’d get the same result as in this video with another Earth appearing in close proximity - no spaghettification would take place.
