I've just followed your guide to the letter and replaced my Macbook LCD screen. Everything is good except my FaceTime Camera doesn't work - the green light comes on but in Photo Booth or other apps it's just a black screen. System info says the camera is all good and present. Some online forums suggest the new lcd panel/camera/light sensor need to be paired/calibrated with the Macbook - is this correct do you know?

just did this with my 2022 macbook pro m2 model.. took my time... slow and steady... once done, I plugged in the MacBook got the sound and could hear the fans blowing but nothing on the screen :( the fan just keeps blowing high speed nothing on screen... is there something else I need to do?

Hello I tried using a t5 screwdriver to unscrew the pancake for the electricity but it just stripped the pancake

In the video it looks like you’re also using some sort of connector on the t5 screwdriver, does that help if the hole gets stripped or what else can I do to get that pancake screw off?
