*Love the sound and voice activation **Newest.Technology** feature. Set up was a little problematic and sometimes it connects to your phone totally unprompted but it's a solid system for the price.*

Just what you love to see, a customers £600 amp fasci being slid around a wooden floor covered in bits of wire and plastic off-cuts. The muck on the front of the amp when its turned back on its base. mmm don't call us, we'll call you.

Connecting 4 speakers like that does NOT provide true stereo. Fronts and rears should be powered and controlled separately, so that the true surround sound can be experienced.
Can't believe you sat the front of the new amp on the floor without a cloth!

Quite an expensive box and no doubt this is not something that can deliver 5.1 either but merely a 4.1 system that tries to do a good job the wireless way. Though if I am not mistaken you now have the speakers wired instead apart from the Sub. Deffo not for a surround freak like myself who has been into AV Systems since surround sound started in 1994 and HiFi Stereo since 1970. My guess is that this Sonos is not even capable of delivering the HD Lossless Audio formats via the ARC HDMI either and you do not get a lot for the bucks here at all. Still no doubt I bet it sounds good though and is better than a Soundbar which is something I personally would never use.

Though you certainly made a lot of work having all the speakers in the ceiling I will say and that would not suit my ears having them all in the ceiling either, especially for speaker placement which for me is extremely important. I myself have a couple of ceiling speakers which I had to mount in the ceiling when I switched from 5.1 to 7.1 well over a decade ago now, and had to have them in the ceiling to keep the wife happy cause she was fed up of all the speakers all over the place

I even had to dig out 2 inch channels from the floor up to where my speakers are located on the walls through the 5 inch reinforced concrete walls that are in my living room plus the for the backplate boxes for the speaker sockets and the main controller socket I had to set that 4 inches into the concrete wall just to keep her happy, and hide all the speaker wires. I fed all the speaker cable through 1 inch round trunking I fitted in the walls and even channelled them in the concrete floor from one side of the room to the other. It took me a good week to do the job and cost me over £400 in materials including the speaker sockets and the main junction socket that has all 14 speaker cables wired to it. I have speaker cables running through my walls, ceiling and floor and I am glad I have not got to do all that over again and I literally channelled through the concrete walls with a 1 inch wood chisel and a lump hammer and only occasionally did I use a drill LOL. You done a GREAT job here though I will say....
