Love when the two of you work together! I have to say Chalk Paint is my first love! Annie, your piece is so gorgeous, and you make it look like such a simple finish but there’s so much depth! I am still painting furniture and selling it on and doing private work. I started with Annie Sloan paint and tried others, I always come back to Annie's paint. Johnathon I really like and have learnt much from him, such a creative man. I think I am more like him, I have never been able to do the every which way paint strokes, its simply not in my nature lol.

Very nice tutorial explaining the differences in the 2 types of paint. I have used both types of paint. It depends on the look I am going for. You can antique the satin paint with gel stain for different affects. Thank you both for sharing!💖💖💖💖

I’ll always prefer chalk paint in fact I don’t use satin because I like to play with my paint and I love wax, I have many different waxes including Annie’s, her waxes are so good and her paint is the best, it’s goes on any surface in really beautiful colours.

Love this! I prefer the stormy seas look. I would maybe put a nautical inlay on the top. I am a sucker for the chalk paint look for sure. I think for Jonathan’s piece the red background would actually compliment it more. It’s a much neater, tidier look for sure. I do prefer the whimsical. My mom always told me I’m very whimsical (she didn’t really like that about me). They are both beautiful. Well done you two!
