as a brand new Tesla driver (just picked up our MY RWD yesterday) this video has helped my wife and I so much.
We drove from Brissy to Gladstone today and wished we had watched this video before we left home.
Knowing these tips will make for a much more enjoyable drive home on Tuesday.
You’re the best 🙏

Thanks Ryan. Another really clear video. I've been using Autopilot for nearly five years but, to my surprise, you clarified a number of issues for me.

I've been pulling down hard on that right stalk to engage autopilot for over a year, thanks for the tips!

As a UK Tesla 3 driver (2 months now) your video was the easiest to follow and succinct. Thanks, I look forward to more and in case I missed it I’d like to learn more from your perspective about navigation on auto pilot. From what I can see we have the same functioning software in the UK as you do.
Cheers.

As much as I find autopilot superuseful on motorways it's superannoying in regular, non residential areas around me. We've got quite a few roads where surrounding trees create near or full domes around the roads and autopilot freaks out way too often to feel it helps tho. Same is actually true for a regular cruise control.
But as a fresh user of model3perf I found some of these tips genuinely useful.

As always Ryan. OUTSTANDING Video. One of my favourite features is utilising the (R) Scroll wheel to set the follow distance, the start stop feature in the Auto Pilot. Plus, with the amount of travel I have to do for work, I feel so much more refreshed after driving long distances my tesla than if driving an ICE vehicle.

LOVED the video mate, some really great tips for newbies to tesla and Veterans alike.

Hi Ryan, we live in Far North Queensland (no motorways) and recently did a road trip to the Gold Coast and back, once we hit the proper motorways, the Autopilot system was amazing, at times I forgot that I still had to supervise! Keep these great tips coming...

Thank you for this video. We picked up our Model Y on Tuesday this week and we have so much to learn! By far the auto high beams are our favourite function! We have a 200series landcruiser and get flashed all the times because the vehicle is high. So we get paranoid turning high beams off. We don't have to worry with Tessie :)

Thanks Ryan for a very good video. I love the autopilot features and use it as often as possible, to the point I wonder if I can still drive any other cars! The part I struggle with in this video is the Following Distance adjustment, that’s been hit n miss with me .

Wait what? I was not expecting there to be anything at all that I didn't already know, but uhm... turns out I learned some new things today! :D

Great presentation. I used the autopilot in a drive from Coffs Harbour to Moolooaba and I felt it was just amazing. Driving through 45 kilometres of roadworks and stop start through Brisbane. Very happy. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks for the video, Ryan. I ended up learning all this myself in the first week, and use Autopilot every day.
Brilliant in Peak hour traffic too.
Cannot wait for FSD!

Great video. I’ve been watching many Model Y tip videos and this has been among the easiest to understand with awesome editing. Thanks for filming your own B roll.

I want to compliment you on a good, succinct video. There were two things that you confirmed that I realized just in the last couple of days. I was concerned about the camera warnings during two recent night drives, and last night when it said the right pillar camera was compromised, I guessed that it was simply because it was pitch black for a stretch of road; the warning cleared when I passed a car. The other thing was the slight adjustment when passing trucks. I would naturally steer from the center of the lane and that would often disconnect Autopilot. These past couple of weeks I noticed Autopilot seemed to be doing it but I wasn't sure -- you've confirmed it! I also like your non-autopilot shout-out about the podcast skip function in the left control wheel -- just discovered that this morning! Thanks
