Residents of eastern Ukraine are bracing for an anticipated Russian offensive as the Kremlin switches focus from Kyiv to the Donbas region. US President Joe Biden has accused Vladimir Putin of committing genocide against civilians in Ukraine with Washington warning that the Donbas offensive might involve chemical weapons. Pro-Russian rebels have been fighting Ukrainian forces in the Donbas since 2014.

It's absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable what is happening i just helped out a family of 4 that came to Ireland from Ukraine and they were sent to sleep in a gym for the past 7 nights so I drove them around to the hotel and they didn't do anything to help we were just told to go to the government so I'm going to try and get some were tomorrow for them to stay for a few nights so fingers crossed I will get somewhere tomorrow 🤞🤞
