Facts about the big daddy

The big daddy it’s one of the most armored killing machines in any cost of killing any splicers in its way to take little sisters Adam to make a sound of a huge whale and due to its big diving gear it’s hard for the big daddy to walk but in the game the drill helps it go faster the drill is a main weapon you know but by suchong tried to make the big daddys to in print of the little sister also what he called them little brats
Although the drill wasn’t suppose to be a weapon but a working drill in bioshock infinite burial sea the big daddy was drilling rocks until it was done

Main part about the weapon we didn’t know but some do

Let me tell you about the others

The Rosie’s as so you know used it’s rivet gun to fix the buildings at all times even when if the city is down it will still fix rapture

The rumbler is the big daddy known as shooting cannon balls to the player and throwing a mini sentry to help the rumbler kill the splicers and the player

The lancer is the technically advance big daddy rapture ever created also using a beam or laser gun as it’s main weapon and it can cause a blinding light also I like to called the sun blind being in this mode Minervas den

Can anyone tell me why larinx removal was neccessary for Big Daddies? I am not so sure that it was actually explained in BioShock 1.
