Fantastic video Mark, definitely agree with the Toyota/Lexus 3.5 V6 and Honda/Acura 3.5 V6 on the various models you suggested. As far as the BMW engines you suggested, not sure I would personally venture into one of those, but to each their own. As far as the Toyota/Lexus 5.7 V8, now you’re talking my kind of language Mark! Nothing beats Naturally Aspirated V8 engine like this, made to last! Sure they may be a little more thirsty, more smiles per gallon, lol 😁. Take care Mark, cheers!

Amazing video. Im sure that b58 will go for a long long time of course with the right maintenance. Sure there will be problems but i wouldn't worry that much as long the engine is fine. But the Lexus lx570 is definitely one of my dream SUVs

You forgot the N57 3.0L straight six turbo diesel BMW engine. If you delete the emissions equipment, they will last forever.

The one great thing that Honda did recently was bringing out an all new J35 (J35Y8) engine with DOHC and yes it is all new and Honda claims that they made significant gains in terms of emissions, in some cases upto 50% improvement..

Meaning these engines will definitely be powering the new Odyssey, Pilot (it already does), Ridgeline, MDX etc and be available for at least a decade if not more.

150k miles isn't long lasting, my Ford Focus with almost 295k miles hasn't had nothing major except for the clutch and transmission, everything else was normal wear and tear. BMW are very expensive to repair
