It's hard to believe that such a sweet and whimsical song came from an Alfred Hitchcock movie!

Jimmy Stewart was an amazing actor. He could act with his eyes better than anyone before or since, these clips really show that well.

It's weird, cause I'm not even American and all these comments saying that grandmothers and mothers of those people used to sing this when they were little, it's a bit confusing... but I'm a proud Czech man and absolutely love this song! :D In a few days I'm going to turn 20, but something just hits different when you play this song on a sunny day with some ice coffee in your hand.. love these old nostalgia songs from 20th century.

My father introduced me to this movie and the song.. a memory etched in time.

He passed away last year but his love of classy music and movies will never be forgotten. Thank you Father for your wonderful gift to your children

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be pretty? Will I be rich?
Here's what she said to me
Qué será, será
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Qué será, será
What will be, will be
When I grew up and fell in love
I asked my sweetheart what lies ahead?
Will we have rainbows day after day?
Here's what my sweetheart said
Qué será, será
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Qué será, será
What will be, will be
Now I have children of my own
They ask their mother, what will I be
Will I be handsome? Will I be rich?
I tell them tenderly
Qué será, será
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Qué será, será
What will be, will be
Qué será, será

See the level of purity in rhythm, beat, everything.... So calming and melodious, nowadays only 2-3% songs are being made like this. 👍👍👌👌
