The Dempsey Roll

A recreation of probably one of the best scenes in Hajime No Ippo (Ippo vs Sendo 2)Finished in about a week. Not perfect but I just love this anime and wanted to recreate it. Some of the stills were abit rough but we take what we can.

The hit effects from the actual anime are missing and they are probably the best part of the original animation. Maybe down the line I'll recreate this with the hit effects (once I have more skill and time to invest)

no idea why this got recommended for me, but this is actually well made. I get why you used some sort of modelling clay, but if you find a solution to edit that out or some sort of substitute solution which is less obvious... that would raise it to the next level.

This is just the perfect combination of charm and effort. The elongated limbs to make shots look better, popping off limbs to give more mobility, and using the original voice performances makes it sound so dramatic for a LEGO stop motion.
