Not randomly. It's a stealthy release of an elegant new look for Bose. Back to looking elegant and good. I hope Bose continues to update their look to this, I never liked the Flex look.

I'm tempted to get a couple of these, but I got to get them working with my Volumio.

Always bose is Boss, iam using sound link 2 and 3 blue tooth speaker, since from last 12 years as on date not a single problem observed, in both speakers, it's one time and life time usable quality blue tooth speaker, Always Quality Speaks.

The emberton 3 really sounds like crap no dynamic range at all it's just to small to put out any good sound!

The sound link home looks like it's driver is bigger than the flex. That would be a big difference!

Good review, I am a hardcore Bose Fan, and I also struggle with that design, back to the 1970s. Love my soundlink max, mirco, soundbar ultra and and and. Please Bose Stick to previous design

I actually really like this design. I think Bose used to make speakers with sophisticated industrial design and I wish this speaker to be stereo like soundlink iii or mini. I don’t like to stereo pair another one because it’s inconvenient.
