BOSE FLEX REVIEW (LONG TERM)

This is a bose sound link flex. I own all of their speakers and this one is the most exciting thing Bose has put out in a long time. The things that it does right are so convenient. This is a conveniently good speaker that is an absolute essential to my world. The music is so bone chillingly good and leaves you completely satiated. Looks good, sounds good, feels good to the touch, it is very efficient and works with usb c, it also has a good sound quality and a great throw of sound.

I can't think of one con. It has great connectivity, a very decent battery, sounds really good.

This is a great companion device for most of the people looking for a portable speaker. Nothing much to complain about. Good industrial tuning. Works nicely across different genres. Premium-ish build quality (excellent for the price). Good looking. Checks most of the criteria. My only gripe is that it could have had better battery life, given its dimensions.

For people who think this might be a tad bulky, and/or have a lower budget, a great option is Marshall Willen ( ₹9-10K). Great fidelity for its size, similar build quality. Sound tuning is a bit different than Bose. Guitars and drums feel nicer in Marshall speakers. The Willen is quite compact and shaped better compared to the Flex. Both of them are great buys at their price point. I prefer the Flex for sound quality, and the Willen when I have less space in my packing.

P.S. - If you are looking for home speakers only, you are better off with a proper wired setup. The portable speakers are not enough for me in terms of fidelity. I have both the Flex and Willen, and they can't even come close to my ₹12K Edifiers.

Hi, thank you for your review. I just wanted to mention that I was able to purchase this yesterday from Amazon and got really lucky with my credit card deal 50% off deal on top of amazon discounts. I got it for $59.17 so it's about Rs. 16485.25 pkr. In INR it will be right about 5000 I believe. I went from JBL Flip 6 and went to this, which I like better.

samsung's usb c cables are great for fast charging, i had to buy adapter seperately as the phone came only with the cable

The bose flex speaker is a little to small. It is not with $150, perhaps $79. 95 yet no more. Then sound show never be turned up more then half volume. Or they is distorded.

Any idea how to make the goddamn thing stop shutting down, or forgetting my phone connection, or whatever it’s doing, so I can at best automatically reconnect, or at least just tap connect on my phone Bluetooth. Right now I have to go over to the stupid Bose speaker, tap power button to find out how much battery has, and then reconnect.
