"Does it white man?!" will always make me laugh, no matter how many times I've seen it.

"Slowly taking back our money from white people, one quarter at a time" cracks me up every time

"Is that a threat?"
"Why yes... I thought that was obvious."
A man who knows his fiddles.

Ken Hotate's distrust of the Pawnee government was justified, but he definitely trusted Leslie.

Ken Hotate: (Sees an offensive stereotypical portrayal of himself)

Also Ken Hotate: "Yes. That is exactly how it happened."

"My son sells them on Etsy. He is a huge disappointment."

I watch this show whenever I've forgotten about it enough. He delivers that first line with sincerity and pride so that second line gets me every time lol

Haha Ken Hotate making up gibberish for the curse lifting ceremony is hilarious.

"That is exactly what happened" he should probably be offended but the man knows how to use racism to his advantage.

“Does it, white man?!” Is still one of the best lines/deliveries of television.

I would’ve loved if they used Ken more, that said the scenes we did get of him were fantastic

This show has some of the best, well formed supporting cast members of any show. Ken Hotate included.

Ken was always one of those people who trusted Leslie to do the right thing, even when she messed up. In a town & career where so many people are only ever looking out for themselves, Leslie was always looking out for other people and always tried to do the right thing.
Her interactions with Ken always show the effort she puts in to recognize all of Pawnee history, the good & the bad. I suppose one could view it as White Guilt, but I believe it demonstrates her willingness to tackle obstacles head on instead of dancing around them.

Also, I love when Ken comes up to Ben, says "Here, stupid" in Wamapoke, then just throws dirt in his face. Kills me every time.

Ben going "Oh, I love these things!" at the low-budget "USCSB" style reenactment video. 100% fitting with his character

Damn it's not here but Ken chucking dirt in Ben's face to "bless" him is such an underrated funny moment from the Harvest Festival ep🤣
