Death made Ron and his new gay barber brothers and I'm not mad about it...

When Ron Swanson's barber dies, Andy Dwyer and Donna Meagle try to help him feel better by finding a new barber to replace his dead friend. Luckily for him, his new barber hates Europe and bicycles just as much as he does.

Season 7, Episode 6, "Two funerals": Leslie helps Tom plan for a very big evening -- Ben and April conduct a series of interviews, while
Andy and Donna help Ron adjust to a life change.

From Emmy Award-winning executive producers Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, "Parks and Recreation" is a hilarious ensemble comedy that follows Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her tireless efforts to make her quintessentially American town just a little bit more fun.

"Was he killed by a younger-stronger barber?" Pure gold

Every time Ron giggles, an angel grows its mustache

Can we appreciate that Ron initiated the conversation? Now that’s character growth!

The fact Typhoon’s salon is literally called “Hair by Typhoon” probably endeared him to Ron already. Nice and simply name.

For all that Ron hates people, and despises friendship, he certain knows how to cultivate some exceptional workplace proximity acquaintances who actually care for him...

Wish we could have seen more of these two and their hate for Europe

Asking if Sal was killed by a younger barber is a totally valid question.

I love that the guy who seems like a perfect fit ends up being his worst enemy (though the enmity is not reciprocated), while the man who seems like a terrible companion ends up instantly becoming a close friend.

I also wish to hear him talk more about how he hates Europe and bicycles.

“Every time we lose a compadre our collective lantern gets a little bit dimmer.” Damn… that line hits a lot harder now that I’ve gotten older.

Random friendships between people who seem like polar opposites but have a few core common interests (like sh*t talking Eurotrash) always make for some great interactions and even greater bonds.

Donna was such an underrated character. She needed more screen time. Her and Tom with their "treat yoself" always made me laugh. This was such a great show!!

Typhoon and Ron should have been in same episode more than that time. A great and unlikely friendship. Loved it.

I love Ron’s delighted laugh at the end. It’s the only time he sounds like a happy kid

“Please tell me more about how you hate Europe and bicycles” 😂

For all Ron's strength and stoicism, his collapse in grief for his friend Salvatore show some real wholesome vulnerability despite his masculinity.

I love the contrast between Ron and Ron. They both dispense true wisdom beyond their years in different ways. If you heard from both of them you’d probably have the answers to the entire universe.

Parks and Rec has a great way of poking fun at various political and ideological beliefs without ever seeming mean-spirited. Such a wholesome show.

I mean, it’s not too odd that they get along.
He’s obviously very skilled at his profession, he has hobbies that involve crafting and making things, he’s a young successful business owner and Donna respects and likes him and Ron knows what that Meagle stamp is worth.
Ron may be pretty closed off, but he does respect hard work, genuine people and he always gives people a chance.

Donna knows best…

The best part about this is in the flash forwards at the series finale, when Typhoon marries Craig, he has Ron as his best man, they literally get that close.

I also would put money on the fact that despite his protests about getting to know people, I’m sure Ron had a play in introducing the two of them too.
