What is the origin of the Nomad Capitalist signature phrase "Go Where You're Treated Best"?

You will find the answer to this question in this very special interview with a person who said it for the first time to an 11-year-old boy.

At the time, the boy wasn't aware of it, but this phrase will eventually become one of his main life principles and a pillar of his successful business.

ABOUT NOMAD CAPITALIST

Andrew Henderson is the world's most sought-after consultant on legal offshore tax reduction, investment immigration, and global citizenship. He works exclusively with six- and seven-figure entrepreneurs and investors who want to "go where they're treated best".

Andrew has spent the last 11 years studying and personally implementing the Nomad Capitalist lifestyle, and has started offshore companies, opened offshore bank accounts, obtained multiple second passports, and purchased real estate in a total of 20 countries.

He has also spent years creating a behavior-based system that helps people get the results they want faster and with less resistance. Andrew believes that everyone can use offshore strategies to keep more of their own money, live a life of freedom, and grow their wealth faster.

What a great dad! We're emulate his parenting style and teaching our son to go where he's treated best too.

It’s a tough pill to swallow when you’ve realized that your country isn’t treating you right! It’s enraging and disappointing, but also gives you the opportunity to pursue where you’re treated best.

That’s cool you interviewing your father. Didn’t even need to but you did. That’s cool. 👍🏽

Andrew, your dad is wise beyond his years. I was amazed when I heard him say "This isn't the world I grew up in." Exactly the phrase I've been saying lately. I'm leaving and probably going to give up my citizenship for that exact reason. USA has become like living in an episode of The Twilight Zone. There are better options for "the pursuit of happiness". Great interview !!

Thanks for addressing the anger in the USA these days. Really, it’s too much! The aggresivity, polarization and politicalization... it’s gotten ridiculous and indeed, focusing on the wrong things.

Married to a Sri Lankan national. Moving there in mid-2021. Lived overseas 14 years, plus 10 years in LATAM. Concur on both your assessments on the decline of the 'West', and the U.S. specifically, especially from the point of view of individual liberties and health care. Truly appreciate your videos and insight.

It’s so amazing that you’re dad was more free thinking and inspired you. Most of us are undoing limiting beliefs filtered down from our parents 💕

Exactly....I'm going to travel to figure out where I'm treated best. I know life gets better than this. I had a taste while travelling and want to discover how to make living overseas a reality.

A few minutes into hearing your dad speak, I found myself thinking...I wish I was your neighbor as a kid, and could hang out at your house to listen to him talk, and soak up his points of view.

My dad lived on a boat for 20+ years, and now lives in Mexico on a shoe string budget - still can drive to Texas in 5-6 hours. But he's able to live a better life there than had he stayed in the U.S. My plan is Thailand, but I would love to visit Montenegro and K.L and some of these other places I hear you talk about. I spent two years in mainland China, so I'm no longer scared or apprehensive about living overseas - thank goodness.

Your channel, Andrew, is definitely in my top 3. And in your case, it certainly seems to be the case that the apple didn't fall far from the tree. I can see where you come from and why you are the way you are, down to the way you dress, speak, and compose yourself.

I just went back and watched this with a younger friend so he can hopefully be inspired. As I have said before, I love your dad. Wish I had one like that all those decades ago!

I am impressed with the respect that you show your Father. As he comes from different generation, his point of view is important is important in the over all picture of change. I recommend you focus more on woman in your marketing. As a woman of your Father's generation, I am looking for advice as well.

This was a great conversation to listen to. Father and son engaged in a very timely discussion about current events. It was so refreshing to witness these two gentlemen respecting each other more like friends than father and son. Im sure many men watching this video are saying “ if only I could have talked with my father like that.”

Listening to your dad now in 2021 feels more relevant than when this was recorded.

Wow! What a great interview. Andrew, I see where you get your brilliance. Mr. Henderson the senior is eloquent, bright, relaxed and wise. Andrew, about two weeks ago I began watching your videos and have completely changed my view on traveling & living as a global citizen (I'm currently in the USA). I look forward to one day meeting you in person and learning how to be a 'Nomad Capitalist' from the best. Also, I ordered your book from Amazon and I'm looking forward to receiving it tomorrow, (Friday the 24th of July), and devouring it this weekend! You are a winner, keep up the good work.

Very interesting. Enjoyed Andrew grilling his dad on, in not so many words, why he suggested 'go where your treated best', when Andrew was a child but why didn't his Dad exit the US. Sounds like, in the old days, it was harder to gather the necessary information to mitigate the risk. Hence, Andrew picks up the ball and runs it in. Nice job. Love it. Be fearless.
