Moogle Tomestone Event: What to Farm & Where to Farm It (April 2023)

Hi Friends o/ This video covers the April 2023 Moogle Treasure Trove The Hunt for Mendacity event which is taking place from April 24th until the launch of patch 6.4. I'll go over which rewards are worth your time to farm and then I will tell you which of the associated dungeons/raids/trials/pvp arenas are going to be the quickest or best value for farming. I wouldn’t say any of the mounts, save the trail mounts are actually worthless, because someone is always gonna not wanna farm for them and so the ones you can sell are gonna eventually find their way back up to regular price. It seems like it’d be a pretty easy grind now to make Gil once prices stabilize in the future.

lol i was gonna run the dungeons as they are 3 and 4 but forgot that alex raids are there and fist is super fast and easy to do def gonna do that now plus the absolute banger theme song playing is a nice bonus :)

Biggest perk to farming Rival Wings:

Its the only time the queues for it are active. Youll wait multiple hours if not literally DAYS in queue outside of Treasure trove events. No one touches Rival Wings otherwise, and its not in a roulette.

Free trial. That's all I gotta say to make buying these mounts with the tomestones worth it

Seems I'm pretty much the opposite in priority. I don't have any of these things, but I want the mounts because I don't feel like dealing with the headache of RNG. As a dude Au Ra, I couldn't care less about the hair. The MGP and what to farm were great to know.

Not sure I'll even do this event at all. I don't care about the porxie earring and the rest can be obtained outside of the event. That said, if I just happen to need anything that coincides with the event, might as well do it.
For mounts: The Susanoo Extreme mount can't be done solo, that one might be worth it.

Good video as always! I would say that the Megalotragus is probably worth as getting those scripts in the restoration would take longer. So would making that much gil. The lvl 70 trial mounts can have horrible drops rates. We've had zero drops in 20+ attempts before. So rng dependent as mentioned, vs guaranteed with tombs. Tribe and Fate mounts are really easy to get and have no rng. Lvl 60 trials takes minutes and lvl 50 trials take seconds to farm.

Easily the most lackluster Moogle event so far.. I’ll get the earring just for collection’s sake but my daily roulettes will bring me more than enough tomes to get it. I guess that’s a good thing? I get to take it easy this month! 😅

Best dungeon to do is the praetorium because you get to fight Nero. Nero <3

do you have to be completely finished with the game to participate? i’ve only done ARR and im still going through it’s patch content
