Build and Review of surprising LEGO Speed Champions set #76925 Aston Martin Formula 1 safety car.

This is a great example of the 8 wide Speed Champions, lots of nice building techniques and colourful pieces used to make the instructions easy to follow.

Not sure why some of the complexity was included but i guess that helps make it interesting as you are not sure why they have done some things.

It was also quite different from the previous Vantage even thought it is basically the same car so that was a good surprise.

Of course there is the issue with the steering wheel but that’s a pretty small complaint.

The colour is not a great match for the real car but i think that’s been said already.

The dimensions are a little be off with the length at 1:28 scale, Width 1:27.5, Height at 1:29th and wheel base at 1:30th scale but i was surprised that it was a pretty good size match with the length of the F1 car in the pack. The height is another thing however.

All in all a really nice set, better than I was expecting.

Great review as always John, I only got the mclaren last weekend on sale so I'm not too interested in the F1 in this, but this vantage has a certain something, I love the 22 version with brick built front vents, bull horns, a decent Aston Martin shape.Which one do you prefer?
