I remember one Zee News article headline which said “Alia Bhatt’s RRR to be Nominated for Oscars, ” and I was wondering if it was written by Karan Johar 😂

Writers and Directors deserve praises first not actors in every movie

I think Kedarnath suffered the same PR issue as this was the debut film of Sara Ali Khan. Sushant wasn't given much credit despite carrying the film all alone.

That's why I love actors like Cillian Murphy who only focus on their work, avoid "stardom" and don't care about PR or whatever and plus he is actually a phenomenal actor.

Reminds me of Sarbjit (2016). Randeep Hooda did the heavy lifting, body transformation and good acting. But Aishwarya Rai despite mediocre acting got the credit. Even in promo events you could see Randeep being sidelined.

PR is to only to make an Actor a Star!
But it is still up to the Actor to make himself a SUPER STAR!!

shraddha's char is more like an extended cameo at best . The chaotic group of rajkumar, abhishek(omg), aparshakti and pankaj tripathi is the main attraction of this movie.

Jammy is competing with Akshay Kumar in terms of consistency.

Stree 2 is everyone's blood and sweat. We should totally agree but the production house extensively used Shraddha's popularity and stardom to hype the movie and yes her character was a question mark at the end of Stree 1 and people tend to know about her identity. Shraddha who does 1 movie per year also acted as a major fact for the crowd pull. So one can't criticize Shraddha that she is taking the credit . She herself said that it is everyone's movie.

One thing that i don't understand most of the time when a male lead is given all the credit for a movie's success no one has the guts to say anything but when it's a female lead then everyones ego gets hurt. Amir khan said this once that the male actors get more credit and pay because mostly their face and name is used for the promotion they are the brand because of which people come to watch movie. In stree 2 case shraddha was the brand for promotion of the movie her popularity was used for the promotion. The movie is good there is no doubt in that but not all good movies get successful when they release.

7:30 probably the most humble and soft behaviour I have seen of Salman Khan in decades. He genuinely was praising Siddharth ❤

They cast talentless nepo kids like Ananya and Jahnavi (and many others ) with talented actors like Rajkumar Rao, and Siddhant Chaturvedi to give an impression that the nepo kids are doing serious movies - When the film succeeds, the nepo-kid gets credit (it is considered as his/her success), if the film flops, the poor talented actor who was bearing all the burden, get affected ...
A few years back when they announced Ananya and Siddhant in a movie, soon after Siddhant's historic reply to Ananya, I was stunned - it was like as the affluent taunted "No matter how talented you are, you have no way out but to act with our talentless star-kid and bear the burden of the movie to work and earn here.."

I believe It's Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek, and Apaarshakti who carried the entire movie. But the aura of Sharddha was too much, even though she is a mediocre actor. There are a lot of people who are hating Sharddha for no reason at all.

I completely believe that Stree 2 work because of plot, execution and acting. Not denying that Rajkumar rao did heavy lifting. And most importantly it was a successful sequel. But i am pretty sure if shraddha wasn't there movie wouldn't have crossed 250 crores for sure. Shraddha has that sweet lovely presence in insta which made this movie buzzz twice

Shraddha has not said a single bad thing about her co stars. But aparshakti, Abhishek have taken digs at shraddha in their interview. They just cannot digest the fact that people are referring Stree 2 as shraddha film. This is the reality of small actors they do women centric films which talks about women rights but they cannot digest anyone praising the heroine of the film

Let’s be honest if it wasn’t for the villains in dhoom series the films would’ve tanked. Abhishek should thank the villains for keeping his career alive 🤓

I thought that I was the only one who noticed the Stree 2 injustice 😢

I totally agree.
It was Rajkumar Rao who stole the show, I still can't get his baby calm down out of my mind.
No denying Shraddha being very talented

I know that movie credits should go to everyone, but one thing surprises me—this whole PR topic that’s being raised now. In that interview, Aparshakti blamed everything on Shraddha's PR, as if other actors don't even have their own PR. In the end, the most famous actor gets the most limelight. Like in Raees, there were other famous actors, but the movie is known as SRK's movie. It’s harsh, but it's the truth. If it were another star kid like Janhvi or Alia instead of Shraddha, would he have raised such an issue in the interview? Obviously not, because they have connections with Karan Johar. So, it is what it is. Just accept that a girl who doesn't have connections with a bollywood big companies, who is unproblematic, still managed to make her way.
