The Flash - Flash vs. Flash Mindbending Scene: The Flashes (Ezra Miller) disagree about what they should do.



FILM DESCRIPTION:
Worlds collide in "The Flash" when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian... albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

This is the one time when the writer rembered how strong the Flash and I loved thunder tornadoes, lightning bolts etc...

I loved how it showed that Flash is actually able to match kryptonians, at least on the ground. Not invulnerable, but they can avoid hits from vibrating, they can use objects as weapons, and they're faster .

I think Flash 1 could be wrong about the inevitability. They could kill the whole kryptonian army at that location, minus Zod, and then they find kryptonite, and kill him too.

0:32 one of the rare times his running actually looks pretty solid (I understand the martial arts approach for his running style in Justice League and this movie, but that doesn’t change how goofy it looks in execution which draws focus away from everything else)

This movie's story is solid. Yes, it's not Flashpoint, but it's a good take on it for the DCEU. What brought this movie down for me was the blatant overuse of CGI. It's like going to a restaurant and ordering a steak, and the steak itself comes back okay, but it's completely covered in ketchup.

You can hate the effects and actors and how it isn’t like Flashpoint but I absolutely loved how much time the movie spent on Barry realizing and coming to terms with his mothers death, he realizes it right here and when he comes to the conclusion he must let her die he has tears running down his face for the remainder of the movie. I guess people can hate it if they want but that type of pain is a lot easier to relate and connect with when you know what it’s like to lose a parent, I couldn’t imagine being a position to save my mother but have to allow her to die for the sake of everyone else.

They did this very well it really felt like there was two Ezra and that they were like brothers. Older Bro trying to tell the younger one to stop and move on. Not hurt himself in his obsession.
I don't like Ezra IRL but he sure acted super good in this

They were able to hit Zod before the 1st redo. It's so contrived that now that they have a spike which can kill Kryptonians, Zod becomes untouchable.

I think it’s cool how at 1:29 you can see and hear how younger Barry is starting to go insane. His laugh, his mannerisms, etc.

It makes sense why he became Dark Flash.

I never thought that years later I'd watch a movie and think "this looks like PS1!"

It’s kinda wild at no point he doesn’t just kill zod 🤷🏿‍♂️no zod no invasion while he’s distracted he’s more than fast enough to run in and vibrate his arm through his chest and just kill him

This was a good movie. The issue was the terrible CGI at times and the ill-will built towards Snyder's DCEU over the years. Hopefully James Gunn will be able to rebuild the brand.
