A Neko rigged Berkeley General was my best bass producer last year.

I've been using the neko for years, smallmouth, spots, and largemouth. The missile baits quiver worm is by far my favorite.

I'd love to hear your opinions about the classic. I think they need to let the anglers go live so we can choose who we want to watch. Other than that, the tournament was pretty cool. First one I ever watched. I think they should have a skunk rule where day one, no fish, CUT. Day 2 no fish CUT! OR have the top 50 advance to day 2 and then top 25 day 3

Last your I got on a bite with a Neko rig that was lights out. The bait I was using was a 6 inch curly tail worm. I tried a straight tail worm and couldn’t even get a sniff. The minute a put the curly tail worn on I started getting bites immediately. I guess I said all that to say just about any plastic bait can be put on a neko rig. Taku Ito won an elite series event last year due in part to a neko rigged Norris flip gill. Great video
