Great tutorial! Sorry if you've already answered this before...but, wondering if there's a short cut/hotkey to turn on/off the power window overlay without having to go and click the "power window" button in the dropdown menu every time? Similar to Shift+H for turning on and off the gray overlay for what's being effected.

Thanks for all your content, it's helped me a lot in getting to grips with DaVinci Resolve! I published my first video yesterday and I owe a lot of the great quality to your tips. Keep it up!

Great video. But having a problem tracking forward and backwards. It won't do this. I keep getting the message in the top left: "No live features to track." Tearing my hair out! I try "Option T" to go forward and won't work. Any ideas on how to get this to work? Thank you in advance!

If one wishes to apply a power window to just part of a clip; let us say, six seconds of a 10-second clip needs to be blurred. I want the power window to appear at the 2-second point and then disappear at the 8-second point. How would we do that. I cannot see any way of removing the power window with keyframes, or of synchronizing its introduction to a keyframe. Once applied to a clip it seems to remain active for the entire clip.

This is the video I was looking for, Thank you for this great content. Also, Is there a right way to use the power window with magic mask because at time I lose the tracking data while switching between the nodes :(

Beginner question here:
When I use a circular power window to track an object that moves a lot on the screen, the circle becomes so deformed that at some point its just useless, is there an way to fix that?
Im using Davinci 18 Free, for the tracking I have Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Roate and 3D turned on and the frame button selected.

Thanks to any good soul that can help me.

I have a video clip that includes about 20 orange butterflies fluttering on a tree limb. I need to change about half of them to yellow. I was able to change the color of all of them to yellow then use a circular power window so that only one was yellow. How do I create additional circular power windows? I was able to select another butterfly using the square power window but I need to select more. Is there a way to use two or more circular power windows at the same time? I also tried to use a tracker on one of the butterflies that flew off the limb but it was moving really fast and the tracker didn't seem to work. Is the tracker supposed to be able to track fast moving objects?

Great video, thank you!!! I am stuck tho, I have a shadow on a woman in my shot, so I am using a power window to lighten the shadow but then she moves her head over the spot and back out of the way, how do I stop and start the power window again. Tracking points stop and start did not seem to work for me. I need the power window then I don't, then I need it again when she moves back into place. Is there a way to turn it off and turn it back on again later in the clip? Or do I have to just cut the clip into pieces?

Thank you, Jason. That was very helpful. I'm just struggeling with the rectangular shape. I want to highlight a rectangular logo in my video. When I'm using the rectangular shape and try to adjust it to the logo I can only grab one edge of the shape and then the rectangular shape doesn't have 90° any more. The same when using the handle in the middle. It is very time consuming and never perfect if I'm doing it by hand. Is there a way to adjust the rectangular shape with 90° edges?

how do you delete a power window after you created it if you don't want it anymore?

Is there a way to copy the color grade just from the power window?

I'm looking at a 3D text tutorial and the guy has a perspective window open (in fusion) - yet he failed to explain how he got it open. :( I can't follow his tutorial with my D.R. looking different to his. Any help please? I need the perspective window so I can see 3D text as I edit it. Thanks.
