How long will the tool last? Also will it cut cables or plumbing?

I'm on my second Makita drywall saw.
Sadly they have a brushed motor, working in the dustiest environment on earth. The motor died & bought a replacement saw. Luckily Total Tools sold me (order in) a new motor so I can repair the old saw.
P. S, yours is making the same squeak noise mine started doing a few months before it died.

I’m did a job last year to remove a sagging ceiling and 5.5 x 4m and my price is $4000.
I’ve seen guys posting on social media marketplace they can do it for $1000 of less.
When you have skip hire or tip fees, insurance, running costs, quoting the job, delivery of materials that’s about $1000.

If you wash that clear plastic cover out at the end of the day and let it dry, it’s great next time you use it. It has to be totally dry though. And when you wash it out, hit it with water with force to get all that now mud/dust out.

Hi Max mesh tape is okay as long as you bed it in with setting plaster and not just sticking mesh straight onto plaster board, but fibre fuse is superior to mesh . would charge $1000 per room give or take a little?
