i have an issue with my ears being extremely sensitive, which is a problem since i have three in each ear. i’ve found that instead of sterling silver (which some manufacturers tend to mix other materials with in order to have cheaper production), i gravitate towards stainless steel. most of it can be medical grade, or surgical steel. it can also be cheaper and it never tarnishes!
