I'm trying to figure something out

I am working on a cable driven slide style carb. Is it normal to sputter and almost die if you snap to wide open throttle from an idle? At 1k rpm it sputters but at 1500 it revs up fine.

Are the intake air flow and intake fuel control separately in CV? I never hold one in my hand so I did quite understand how the butterfly valve is operated.

Is a cv carb less likely to stall if you hit full throttle from idle quickly

Hello sir! There are some carburetor that has “air cut off valve” on it, what does the air cut off valve do? What air does it have to cut?

CV means Constant Velocity. Why is it called “constant velocity” type? Please explain diaphragm operation more. Thx.
