I take BBC Breakfast into wartime Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill’s study at Chartwell in Kent. We take a look at some of the most important items in the house’s collection – including one I describe as ‘a who’s who of the early twentieth century’.

I work for the National Trust as a Senior Collections and House Manager at Chartwell, the home of Sir Winston Churchill and Quebec House, the home of General Wolfe.
