Thanks for sharing your beautiful story of your last times with your mom. My mom passed this year also on 2/1/20. I did a reading of whether I could wait a little longer to fly back to be with her, and got the death card. I intuitively knew it meant she was going to passed that week. I flew back on Tuesday and was able to do all the things you mentioned, hold her hand, talk and sing to her. She passed on Saturday evening. What a gift to have those 4 days with her! At one point she realized I was there and yelled out in joy about it. She said I’d made all the difference in her life.

Dear Madeleine you have been on my mind these past days. Thank you for sharing such a personal and powerful story. I too have a great affection for the Knight of Pentacles after another tarot reader described her love for the steadfast, solid, earthy energy of this card that grounded her when she was "up in the clouds". I hope you can take comfort that your mother's passing was peaceful and dignified. I wish for nothing more for my own mother who is currently battling dementia. Great to hear your mother had such a wonderful life too - she was blessed to have a daughter like you.
