These videos are good. I bought property here and did it through a credible realtor, Vista, and have been happy with them. I did have a local try to con me not realizing that I had been living in Belize for seven years and I know better but Belize is amazing, the people are awesome, and the culture is rich. You alcohol advice is good. I'd add the local alcohol (especially the rum) is superb as is Belikin . And very inexpensive.

Heritage bank does exchange CAD for BZD but they have their own exchange rate plus a “tax” you pay at the time of exchange

#4. why go to the Jewel and not drink the fine Belizean drinks? Don't waste money on imported drinks, let your hair down and immerse yourself in the local offerings.
Regarding Duty free, if you want to take some Belizean rum back home with you, don't wait until you get to the duty free shop at the airport, it costs more in there, than it does at a grocery store.
