Social Security gives a raise, and Medicare take it.

Social security goes up, stimulus goes out or they raise wages and they counter that with increasing the cost of everything to balance it out. Everyone remains exactly where they where.

If the government would stop giving social security benefits to foreigners who move to this country and have not paid a dime into it there would be more for the Americans who paid into all their lives

I’m trusting in the LORD with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. I must remind myself of this. I declined the vaccine so I was fired. The stress from worrying caused me to recently have a heart attack I’m a single mother with three children. I get scared and worry about how am I going to make it but I have to trust in the Lord and I say it not just to write it but to remind myself. Praise God I have faith, I’m also weak, during this time please heavenly father have mercy on my soul and carry me through this because I can’t do it on my own!

I am almost 64 years old and I am getting ready to apply for my SSI. I had debated on win to do that but I have decided that the time is now so I hope I don’t regret it. I want my money while I’m still working so I can use it and enjoy it and save for my future.

The question is: why’s that one hustle for 30-35 years paying automatically to the system and comes time to call it quits
Have to juggle with the same system to receive hie entitled benefits?
Some of us maybe have had generous savings and stocks and most of us are broke as hell with older age health issues and stuff

I just applied for SS using survivor benefits from ex. I have talked to 3 different people from SS and all 3 gave me a different calculation for what I will receive. I hope the last one was the right one, but until that check comes....
