311 is one of those niche 90's groups that most people either loved or hated and yes, they're heavily influenced by reggae/Ska and funny enough they actually do have a bit of rapping in some of their songs. Their song Champagne is another chill banger.

311 ?! Wow. Yall are awesome. Good group here. Unique band. They always mix up their music. Reggae, rap, rock, jazz, together etc. Alternative rock! Friends and i used to listen to college radio stations a lot during the '90s . Underground stuff. While in college. 311 got a lot of radio play. Then they went mainstream for a little bit.. Keep exploring alt and indie rock. So much hidden gems out there.

You guys have been sleeping on 311 let me tell you I have been to 13 of their concerts their music is feel good amazing great stuff. They have a reggae feel mixed with hip hop and singing it's a great group....I would suggest the following songs --beyond the gray sky, electricity, eons, freeze time, Jupiter. Those are some of my favorites and I think you guys will really enjoy them.

311 is a group that covers A LOT of genres...I am a huge fan of theirs to where I actually play in a 311 tribute band here in Central Florida. They are known for their positivity and stellar live performances with an amazing audience that can't be described but only experienced.
