I wanted to say too…I’m 49 and lost my own grandmother around 6 months ago. She was an absolute angel in my eyes…an angel who also had some sass and spunk. I know I’m incredibly lucky to have had her for 49 years but I still miss her and think of her every day. It really touches my heart that you value and cherish your grandma. Society seems to discount the elderly at times but our older loved ones can teach us so much and provide a love that lingers long after they are gone.

How beautiful to have such a warm and loving relationship with grandma. Love her style with that color block sweater. And her paintings are incredible. I am so impressed that she did not start painting til her sixtys. What an accomplishment. I can see why that one won first place. I am 73 and have 3 grown grandsons. I am not sure they would think any of my stuff is cool. I have lots of blue and white china, tarnished patina silver, brass and copper pots and candle sticks and vessels. It will all end up in an estate sale, I'm sure. Oh well, the pleasure it gave me all these years was worth it.
