I can't decide if Wasp Ryan is adorable or terrifying. Maybe he's adorifying.

The "I'm going now - just kidding I'm back" is the most accurate representation of wasps ever

I love how Ryan can indicate what month it is through subtle acting cues and intelligent hints

It's kinda comforting to know that extreme wasp aggression can be explained with the phrase "you're just not yourself when you're hungry".
They really are fascinating creatures to study by watching videos which were recorded a long distance away by someone who isn't you.

Bonus Fun Fact: I am hugely allergic to bee and wasp venom, but I also live in Australia. So every summer I get to do the "Frantic Wasp Waltz" away from the lunch table on multiple occasions.

I can just imagine Ryan sitting silently while a wasp eats his food thinking about how he's gonna tell his subscribers all about how annoying the wasp is

As a lifeguard that spends every day outside, this is completely accurate. I’ve already been stung. Since I can’t move whenever they fly near me, I’m basically at the mercy of God.

Sometimes I'm just minding my business, having a normal day. Then I think of that wasps "blade work' and laugh to myself.

Wow, i was not expecting the real actual explanation for wasp behaviour in autumn ! The only part missing is that wasps can’t physically eat the food they collect for the wasp grubs, their body is too narrow to allow solids through.

Man, I did not expect to learn so much about wasps from this video. It's really eye opening to know what they're going through... Okay, it's stabbing time!!!

We always stop at saying, "Wasps are so aggressive!" and never ask the question "Why are wasps so aggressive?" Thanks for asking the important questions Ryan!

“OK IT’S STABBING TIME!”
Still gets me no matter how many times I watch it

Ryan George, in 25+ years of using the internet, you are by far one of my favorite discoveries. Thank you 🙏🏼 for your contributions to our society. You are a genuine and highly valuable treasure

I just love how scientifically accurate this skit is - down to the specific knife brand the wasp uses.

Fun fact: wasps can't talk and fly at the same time. Their wings stop flapping, and they just kind of hover.

"That's some very skill blade work OH NO."😂

As someone who is dead scared of having a wasp fly near them, this gave me good laughs :D

Very accurate portrayal of the little buggers.

I remember trying to harvest grapes at my grandparents' house one fall. The wasps wanted them, too, and were NOT willing to share. We found that taking a garden hose and spraying things down with water every few minutes would get them to leave long enough for us to get a few bundles off the vines. The wasps were smart enough to know that getting mad at water is pointless, but not smart enough to realize that the presence of water and the presence of humans were connected.

Therapist: "Wasp-Ryan isn't real, he can't hurt you"

Wasp-Ryan: "I'm gonna freakin' stab you, I decided"

Oh my god, this had me laughing so hard, especially because this October a wasp crawled up my pants and stung me like 3 times. I looked up the species and apparently they're "non-aggressive" unless they're scared. Like my dude, it's not my fault you chose to crawl up my leg.
