I like the idea of clone systems but the problem is when it comes down to it they arent really cloning any rare systems its usually the ones you can still get the hardware for and even then its not recreating the hardware its emulating it which can have all sorts of bugs depending on which emulator they use. Another problem exists where theres no actual guarantee of quality. I mean I could buy a nintendo system and call nintendo if i have an issue but ive contacted at games about one of their handhelds and im still waiting for a response back a year and a half later. Im not anti emulation just well I think everyone remembers the neogeo pocket clone they were charging like $200 for and it was junk but that was actually officially released more or less. Now granted upscaling is a great thing but theres so many issues on the whole of it I think id be better off buying the original hardware.
