Inside Lisa Marie Presley’s Final Days Before Her Death at 54

Lisa Marie Presley walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes just days before her sudden death at 54. She appeared unsteady, even leaning on Elvis’ longtime manager Jerry Schilling for support during her final interview with “Extra.” Lisa Marie had also attended an Elvis-themed Golden Globes pre-party with Austin Butler and Baz Luhrmann, and she made a rare public appearance at Graceland in Memphis to celebrate Elvis’ 88th birthday.

I remember seeing her picture at the golden globes and I was shocked at how unwell she looked. The make-up could not hide her pasty skin colour and texture. I was worried that she might be ill and a few days later I learn of her death. A few years ago she looked healthy and fit. I had no idea that she was unwell. May she rest in peace⚘

She said something significant at the globes that nobody is mentioning ….” I had to take 5 days to process it!” Regarding the Elvis movie! This movie opened up wounds obviously & she obviously was not coping, not to mention her son Ben that she couldn’t get (nobody could) past, I felt terrible for her and her family, regardless of being rich, she had a very difficult life! I can first hand relate. I lost my mother to a brutal murder when I was just 6yrs old in 1981. My mom layed in a cornfield for 3 weeks wrapped in a mattress until two 12 yr old boys found her while playing hide and go seek after school. The loss was so profound, and the trauma immense for the boys who found her. Til' this day, no one has ever served a day in prison for her death. Fast forward to 2014 and I lost my daughter "my baby girl" @24yrs old. My world was again shattered and I've never recovered. Today, I just exist because I have other grown kids and I have to be there for them. BUT I lost my mom, i lost my baby ... Lisa Marie lost her dad, she lost her baby. I 100% understand if this was simply a broken heart. This life is extremely hard and I envy the people who got the better end of it. Hug your children peoples ... and your parents.

Just think of the emotional pain she had to be going through. Still grieving the loss of her son, having to celebrate her fathers birthday in front of all those people, on what looked like a cold day. It was probably draining for to supervise, remember her father's death, as she said, it took her five days to recover from the movie. She looked fragile, exhausted, no sparkle in her eyes or expressions. as she asked to lean on Jerry. It's just so sad, but RIP little one, you're with your son and your adoring father now.
