Australians might be more health conscious: Every Good Boy Deserves Fruit; Good Boys Deserve Fruit Always. When I learned piano and music theory as a child, we learned both methods, starting with Middle C. (Why on earth would you teach the staff line and space mnemonics with out a basic understanding of the musical alphabet?)
