I can so relate to the car one. Had a wiper blade replaced and a tire patched. Told me $250. My dad walks in and it’s suddenly $50. 16 year old me was very upset and dad told me I’m not going to pick up my car from the shop without him anymore

I have two brothers and two sisters but you damn well know my dad treats me like a princess! Once I had terrible period cramps at 11pm, and my father - despite being REALLY ill himself and being in bed all day - went to the chemist’s and got me my ibuprofen tablets. If my future isn’t like this, I’m uninterested. 💅

Omg I never understood the first part of this… Maybe this is a cultural difference but to me it’s such a fuss over trivial things. I just don’t think it tells you anything about someone! I’ve met terrible guys who did all this and really nice guys that never even heard of this “chivalry” stuff

The first one is real. A little exaggerated but i wouldn't consider date material any male who would not get you a chair, carry your bag/backpack or walk on the road side. I do that for my girlfriends, i do that for my partner
