One issue of Bangkok, is that it has too many different companies running different lines with various of traffic IC cards, and transfer stations are named different names, it's hard to find the right way. That's so confusing and challenging particularly to foreigners.

As of November 2023, Bangkok has 10 mass transit lines with 190 stations and a combined length of 276.84 kilometres which is only 50% of the (1st-phase) Master Plan realised but already makes the network the most extensive in all of South East Asia. Keep forging ahead, Queen 🥰😍🤩😘

As Thai citizen. I wish this vdo has never ended. Not only Bangkok, we want a good transport system in other parts of the country.

It will be so amazing when the Red line reaches Ayutthaya, Chachengsao and Samut Songkram. It's almost covering Central Thailand, not just Bangkok area. I would love to hop on the train and take a day trip to see the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya and be back in Bangkok same day without driving.

All throughout Bangkok you can see these new overhead lines and stations being built. It's so exciting; feels like being a part of the future.

I live in Bangkok. Your video is amazing with how it’s editted and it’s surely a work of art how you draw lines with such great precision.

I’m Thai, In 1999, I was an office worker in Siam Center area. I was excited to ride the BTS for the first time. Now Thailand has expanded its transportation system very well. It is convenient to travel. At present, it is possible to travel out of the city in every province. You make this vdo clip easy to understand both past, present and future.👍👍👍

Mrt and bts are really easy to use as a foreigner, very efficient and pleasant compared to where I'm from, San Francisco.

If anyone has complaints about the current state of the Bangkok public transit system, they should travel back in time about 20 years when this system was in it's infancy. I arrived in Bangkok for the first time in 2002 when only the BTS with about 20 stations existed. It was good, but not very extensive and you still needed to take taxis to most destinations. At that time, Bangkok traffic was rated as the worst in the world by The Economist. Worse still, getting a taxi at rush hour was nearly impossible as many drivers simply didn't want to pick up passengers and get stuck in traffic somewhere. In short, getting around Bangkok in 2002 was a nightmare.

I returned to Bangkok in 2022, this time long term, and between the BTS, metro, and Grab it's incredibly easy to get around the city now. Even though the BTS and metro require different cards, it's still a pleasure traveling around this city today.

For the longest time I heard that we couldn't have subway in Bangkok because of the sunken ground and what not. Then all these projects started to happen. I am happy with what we have, even if they are not as reaching as they should. Or being cheaper to make it more competitive to bus fares. Currently, the price was a couple of notch below Tokyo, which is not good considering the cost of living between the two cities.

Great as always! Will you make Kiev, Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Sofia and Bucharest?

Always interesting to see when a city gets a monorail.

Incredible video - well done! And very exciting times indeed.

I live and teach in Chachoengsao but spend most weekends in Bangkok (constantly in awe of the city!) I hope the connecting BTS line happens in my lifetime! 🙏🏻🤣

"Hey Bangkok, how many lines are you planning?"
"Yes"

As a regular visitor to BKK, I’m happy that the rail network is expanding continually. Upon arrival at airport, I will make an effort to take rail transport to downtown. I only wish tourists will only require one card to use the different rail system.
In Singapore, you will use one standard EZ link card to take the different lines of our railway and it’s also used for public buses too! Moreover, passenger are charged by distance, whether you switch to different line or continue from train to bus. Super user friendly and affordable.😅
