That's why when people tell us abusive things, the things that they say are meaningless and the words are powerless.


But when we start to believe these things, and tell ourselves that we really are the things that these people accused us of - that's when we start saying "I am this and that" - and that's when such evil words from evil people become powerful.


Therefore, folks - never take untrue and abusive words to heart. The people uttering them and wishing bad on someone will find that their curses will come back to haunt them.


Only believe what you know to be true.


And then tell yourself that you are the things you know to be true. "I am ... "


An Ancient Egyptian blessing in temples was "know thyself".


There is more to this simple blessing than meets the eye at first!
