I dont buy the wide pants trend. For years they have been telling people that they will look stumpy in wide pants and now all of a sudden they turn 180 degrees on that? I did the wide pants thing from 1998 to 2014 and I'm soooo over it. 2021 has been my start with leggings - yes, also in public. For a 43 year old I look relatively young, but I know I am not getting any younger so I thought, why hold off and worry about negative opinions? So far no regrets - and I style them with a big boxy T-shirt for an interesting contrast silhouette.
