Antony Blinken urges Hamas to accept Gaza ceasefire

Antony Blinken, the US secretary of state, has called upon Hamas to accept a ceasefire agreement with Israel to temporarily end the war in Gaza.

Blinken met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, Qatar's prime minister, as both countries continue to work on a paln for peace in the Gaza Strip.
