Oh man, you can just click the x2 button and it does the same thing. It's right next to where the font size is.

Why don't you show the keys you are hitting? Just showing me the digit change from regular to superscript isn't helpful; I need to know what keys to press and I don't understand what you're saying.

For subscript in Word v need to use Ctrl = not Ctrl +

It will not work if you use ctrl+1 the (1)which is right side of keyword means where digit are use 1 which is at left upper side
