What do you do for work to pay the bills ? I'm older and have lot's experience in the small market but afraid of waiting tables and the like. I'm just too old for that.

Yeah jobs are hard. I'd recommend set jobs because it keeps you creative, you can schedule yourself, and sometimes the rates are pretty high.

I work in advertising as a creative. Fun to listen to the actors side of things. You told your story well. I was amused when you came to the part where you kind of wanted to say some some people in the room are tools. But you had to be PC about it. Amusing. So I will say it for you, some people, when you go on auditions are fu**ing a**holes. But don't sweat them because you don't want to work with them anyways.

Idk about a law forcing auditions because for game of thrones Peter Dinklage got in instantly and 1 other guy and they didn’t hold auditions for their parts, but for every single other role they had auditions for.

How do you handle your expenses or finances when juggling between studying and auditioning or taking acting workshops/training? Approximately how much do u guys spend on a monthly basis in LA? (Rent, commuting or fuel refill, monthly subscriptions for IMDB, backstage, etc)
