Its not about paying everyone equally, its about everyone getting paid fairly. The minimum wage has not kept up with inflation, that's a massive problem.

the idea is that. if you have a talent that is extremely needed, companies are willing to pay you more, because you offer a lot. and they don't want to ever lose you. this in theory creates a system where anyone with high value skills, are going to seek out these jobs for the money. which means both the companies will get the talent they need, and the talented employee's will get the money they want/need.

how ever i say in theory. because im to young to say how it really is working. and idk how other things are being effected from this. or if this is even the current situation at all.

In all fairness if she is that great she should be in a higher position which would be higher payed. Simplifying the issue like this is kind of misleading. Since if these other people suck they should be fired. In a creative job you should only have work if you're good.

All of these cartoons that suddenly swamp my feed seem to consciously leave out the actual problem within capitalist societies: money makes more money. The vastly unequal societies are not unequal because of unequal pay, but because people that already own lots of stuff make additional money from that stuff in an unfair feedback loop. These cartoons fight against strawmen like Equal Pay while ignore the actual problem
